The fixture shall have a 2:1 f1.4 6-element zoom lens (15°-30°) or an optional 4:1 f2.0 11-element zoom lens (11°-45°) with constant aperture and ZoomTrack™ lens system. The unit shall allow 630° Pan and 240° Tilt, and be equipped with high-resolution optical encoders to monitor and correct position. Fixture features shall include variable frost, mechanical and electronic strobe, smooth, linear dimming, remote focus, independent electronic homing for fixture function groups, and a variable Iris. The unit shall comply with USITT DMX-512 1990, feature an ACN-ready Ethernet connector, and support TalkBack™ protocol . The unit shall feature a dot matrix display with two 16-character line and feature automatic inversion based on fixture orientation. Construction features of the the fixture shall include: options for universal truss mounting, easy head removal with clamshell bezels, modularity, and interchangeable driver boards between modules. The unit shall have a smooth CMY subtracting color mixing system and include a six-position dichroic color wheel with five (5) replaceable color filters plus open, variable Color Temperature Correction (3000°K -7500°K) through the use of CTO and CTB filters and frost wedges on CTO and CTB filters to implement remote three-level beam flatness adjustment.The fixture shall include 3 interlaced gobo wheels with a total of 21 rotating, indexing Lithopatterns® and effects glass gobos with stacking capability , and Moire and overlay effects capability on two positions.The unit shall be 814.5mm (32.0in) high by 521mm (20.6in) wide by 520.8mm (20.5in) deep with a weight of 31.8kg. The fixture shall have a flicker-free, electronic universal power supply (120-230V)(50-60Hz) with a rated power of 1200 W. The unit shall utilize fuses rated at 2.5A, 250V slow blow only for motor supply board and 2.5A, 125 V, Slow Blow SMF for 2- and 3-phase driver boards. The unit shall maintain a 50° C (122°F) Maximum ambient temperature, (Ta), 130° C (266°F). Maximum exterior surface temperature, 1m (3.28ft) Minimum distance to flammable objects, 2m (6.56ft) Minimum distance to lighted objects. Dichroic Glass used in the fixture shall be 1.8 mm ± 0.25 mm (0.069in ± 0.010in) thick. The fixture's LithoPatterns™ gobos shall have a 36.45mm ± 0.13 mm (1.435in ± .006) diameter, a 31.75mm ± 0.25 mm (1.250in ± 0.010in) image area, a 1.78mm ± 0.13 mm (.070 in ± .006) thickness on rotating lithos, and a 1.78mm ± 0.13 mm (.070 in ± .006) thickness on static lithos. Effect Glass used in the fixture shall have a diameter of 36.45mm ± 0.13 mm (1.435in ± .006) amd image area of 31.75mm ± 0.25 mm (1.250in ± .010)and a maximum thickness of 3.81mm (.150 in). The unit shall utilize a Philips MSR700SA 700W short arc lamp with a color temperature of 5600K and a life rating of 500 hours. The fixture's lens assembly shall have a zoom ratio of 2:1, and an effective focal length of 41mm-165 mm, with a full field of view range of 15°-30°. The fixture's optional lens assembly shall have a zoom ratio of 4:1, and an effective focal length of 41mm- 165mm, with a full field of view range of 11.8°-45.2°. Cabling and connectors for the fixture shall meet specifications for EIA RS-485 applications with the following characteristics: Two twisted pairs (4-conductors) plus a shield, a maximum capacitance between conductors of <15 pF/ ft., a maximum capacitance between conductor and shield of 55 pF/ft., a maximum resistance of 20ohms/1000 ft., a 120ohms nominal impedance, 5-pin male and female XLR connectors, and utilize a 5-pin male XLR connector with 120 ohm termination resistor DMX data terminator. The fixture shall conform to the following EEC directives: 73/23/EEC, as amended by 93/68/EEC, 89/336/EEC, as amended by 92/31/EEC and 93/68/EEC The fixture shall be first manufactured in compliance with the following standards in 2001 Safety: EN 60598-1: 1997/A1:1998, EN 60598-2-17: 1989/A2:1991 EMC: EN 55022+A1+A2: 1987 Class A, EN55024: 1998, EN61000-4-2: 1995 Level 3, Cls2, EN61000-4-3: 1995 Level 2, EN61000-4-4: 1995 Level 2, EN61000-4-5: 1995 Level 2, EN61000-4-6: 1996 Level 2, EN61000-4-11: 1994, and EN61000-3-2: 1995 Class A.
