Dichroic Color Frames

Dichroics create only the purest color in their spectrum, and last forever. Color frames with dichroics transmit only wanted frequencies, absorbing no unwanted energy which can cause heat buildup and lead to degradation. When compared with traditional color gel filters, dichroics achieve higher transmission, consistent color uniformity, and precision color definition. Because dichroic performance does not deteriorate with use, there are no additional replacements or labor costs.

Whether used for interiors or exteriors, dichroic color frames are ideal for permanent installations, theaters, studios, and houses of worship. Simple, slide in safety frames fit many lighting fixtures including ellipsoidals and par cans.  In addition to hundreds of stock colors to choose from, High End Systems carries common color correction and UV dichroic color frames. Color frames are available in several popular sizes with custom sizing also available.
