In certain circumstances, the thermal switch on Studio Command 1200 fixtures may open prematurely resulting the lamp dousing. If this occurs, you can obtain a higher rated thermal switch by contacting Technical Support. 

Once you have received the new switch, use the following steps to install it in your fixture.

1. Remove head cover:

2. Remove rear cover by removing the 4 screws.

3. Locate the thermal breaker and disconnect wiring.

4. Remove the 2 switch mounting screws.

5. Install the new switch and reconnect the switch wires.

7. Re-install the rear bezel the head cover.
