Wholehog Control Software Class Description

Our Wholehog Control Software class is a traditional two-day seminar. This class is always evolving as the Wholehog Control Software continues to grow and add functionality. This is a fast-paced course and requires that attendees meet our prerequisites.

This introduction course covers the powerful Wholehog Control Software, which is used on the Wholehog 3 Console, Road hog, Road Hog Full Boar, the HogiPC and Hog3PC. This hands-on class will use the industry standard Wholehog operating system on all platforms, connected to ESP Vision. The class will cover console layout, patching, editing fixtures, programmer, timing, palettes, cuelists, options and directory, page directory, scenes, saving shows and much more. There is a multitude of hands-on exercises with each section covered.

Interested in an Advanced Session?
For current users of Wholehog Control Software who want to expand their Hog knowledge base, we offer private training sessions that can be tailored to your needs. To enroll in an advanced class, you must have previous show programming experience with Wholehog Control Software.
Possible topics that can be covered in a private session could include (but is not limited to) the following:
  • Networking of consoles, RFUs, rackmount servers. Could incorporate the use of the latest version of Hog3PC software on your personal laptop in conjunction with our training consoles.
  • Setting up automated shows (Timecode, MSC, Macros, etc).
  • Setting up a tracking back-up system.
  • Advanced programming and playback techniques.

Class Information

Classes begin at 9am and generally run to 5pm.
