DIGITAL LIGHTING OUTLINE


 

DL.2 Class Description

This two-day class focuses on the DL.2 Digital Light and the Axon Media Server. This course will cover the setup of multiple DL.2s and DMX S-Video switching, using D-Tek’s switching device and Marshall’s preview monitoring. In a basic guide on troubleshooting and maintenance, attendees will learn how to remove and replace major components, understand wiring harnesses and signal flow, and learn the menu system. Attendees will gain a working familiarity of the DL.2’s Content Management Application, including the process of loading custom content and upgrading software. This course will also cover the basics of proper content creation for the DL.2 and Axon. Using the above setup, students will use Wholehog 3 consoles with the latest DL2 library to gain understanding of the profile and learn basic programming techniques.  


Class Information

Classes begin at 9am and generally run to 5pm.
We provide lunch and light snacks each day, along with writing materials.
